Santa Marina, A Luxury Collection resort sits on a hillside with panoramic views over Ornos bay and the crystal clear Aegean.
Located just 3km from Mykonos town, the architecture is in the typical Cycladic style with whitewashed buildings and colourful wooden doors, blending in with its natural Mediterranean surroundings. It has its own private beach with beautiful clear waters, where you’ll find loungers stretched out on the quay to the lighthouse, promising peace and seclusion. Combine this with exceptionally attentive service, outstanding facilities, water sports, and a wealth of activities on the island, the resort is a perfect retreat.
The resort underwent a 3 year renovation program, which completed in early 2014. There is a choice of two restaurants, both serving very high quality food. The Asian inspired Buddha-Bar Beach, has a reputation for serving inventive cuisine, with Asian influences. The Colonial Pool Restaurant and Bar is open all day and is perfect for al fresco dining whilst lounging by the pool. A children’s menu is available, which is full of healthy choices using local ingredients. In room dining can also be organized with a delicious menu to choose from. And for a romantic treat, a private dinner on the beach can be laid on especially for you. Or you could just enjoy the sunset with a cocktail on the veranda of the Lobby Bar.
The resort is very family oriented with good children’s facilities. A children’s club operates daily during the summer with a varied activity programme suitable for all ages. The resort has a floodlit tennis court where the pro team are happy to arrange lessons for both adults and children. Mykonos is a beautiful Greek destination offering the visitor a lot for such a small island. It belongs to the Cyclades group of islands in the Aegean Sea with rugged scenery and turquoise waters, all surrounded by sandy beaches. Visitors can take their pick from busy ones, or tiny secluded ones. There’s a huge choice of watersports that one can enjoy in the island, including windsurfing, water-skiing, scuba diving (with lots of underwater caves and shipwrecks), horse riding and tennis. The resort operates a speed boat service which guests can take for the day to visit nearby islands and beaches.
